I was just approved for a classic car loan, with Jj Best. But at the last minute, the bank would not finance the car, a 1967 chevy nova SS factory 4 speed car, because it needed interior work, and paint.I offered to pre-purchase the entire interior kit for the car, from classic industries, prior to funding of the loan, which I thought should of solved the problem. This is a running/ driving car, just needs a new interior put into it, and paint. As an ex-auto-body and fender/ automotive painter, this would of been nothing for me to do. I was putting 10% down, as well as offering to pre-buy the interior kit.I can now put 3,500 down, and just need to finance $10,000. I pay all my bills on time, always. Why am I having such a hard time getting this done?

From my research, I have found 2 major companies that finance classic cars. The first is JJ Best, who you have already tried. The 2nd is First Again. From what I can see, you should meet their requirements.

If you have good credit, you can get a special classic car financing rate as low as 5.99% from our partners at FirstAgain.
